Finding Self-Love with Eva Rodriguez | CNC71

After facing back-to-back losses Eva Rodriguez, founder of the Uncomplicated Weight Loss Podcast and Eva Fit, literally hit the floor. She knew that she needed to make the changes to be able to see her worth! She went on the journey to better herself not just for her son but for HER! Eva found that loving herself and changing her habits was something that she could give back to other women and moms so that they too could see their worth while staying healthy and fit.

About the Guest:

Having lost her son’s father to a car accident, and then her mother to cancer the year after, Eva Rodriguez didn’t have the tools to deal with the back-to-back loss & grief. Instead, Eva turned to overeating, overdrinking, and overworking rather than dealing with the pain that came from her loss. It was only until she saw far too many similarities in herself to her late mother – the chronic stress, anxiety attacks, and deep-rooted unhappiness – that Eva decided to make a change because her son deserved a healthy, happy mom.

As a single mom, Eva struggled with managing her guilt and feelings of “not being enough”. But through her healing journey, Eva discovered the key to transformation: that it all starts with loving yourself.

This is why Eva is so adamant about teaching self-love as a holistic health & weight loss coach, and spreading the message that losing weight isn’t just about calories in/calories out, and exercising; losing weight is about unlearning damaging behaviors and fixing your relationships with food and yourself.

Since then she has been on a mission to encourage and empower her fellow boss ladies by helping them shed those pounds the uncomplicated way, all while loving themselves. Eva embodies that very mission in everything that she does as a holistic health & weight loss coach and host of the Uncomplicating Weight Loss Podcast – a podcast for the busy boss woman who has always prioritized motherhood, business, and life over her own health, but is ready to make some simple yet powerful changes.

About the Host:

Following the crumbs in the chaos is a full time job. As a busy mom of three, a wife to a traveling hubby, and keeping it weird in Austin, Texas, it’s safe to say that my life is never boring. In addition to running my coaching business as C’N’C’s CEO, I’m a certified coach for a premier virtual fitness and nutrition program helping others feel better while sustaining a healthy lifestyle. My mom and dad are thrilled that I’m putting my Exercise Science degree to good use. Along with my experience training pro athletes, S.W.A.T. members, and a high school football team, I gained 10+ years experience as the Director of Marketing building multiple court reporting companies. Lastly, I am a published writer, Content Coordinator, and Account Executive for a publication by Best Version Media. They even gave me a monthly “How to” column where I teach others how to be more self-sufficient with common household tasks.

Every woman should know how their home functions and what to do if something malfunctions, man or no man. With my husband on the road, searching “How To” on the internet has transformed me into a “Mommy MacGyver”. “I don’t know how you have the time.” “You’re like a Supermom!” These are common things that people say, but the truth is that life hasn’t always been easy or pretty. Even with the bumps, I always try to find the humor in everything because laughter is good for the soul and you should never take life too seriously….where’s the fun in that?
